Now that he’s been officially sucked into the abyss of government its back to closed source systems. Let’s hope the new tech czar shifts to OS.
It took eight years but we finally got him out
In honor of dubya, we’re wishing him a fond fairwell with free streaming, downloading and burning of Horns and Halos. If only more people had seen it 4 years ago.
The survival of all those aboard flight 1549 certainly was a miracle, but not because of an otherworldly force fating those passengers and crew to live. Rather, it was that rare and beautiful thing: a group of people unexpectedly come together and do their jobs extremely well. The pilots, the flight attendants, the ferry Crews, the EMS, the FDNY, the NYPD, the hospitals and the passengers all performed their respective duties with professionalism, intelligence, fortitude and compassion. Their training and a great deal of common sense and quick thinking were the tools to success. And lets not forget the plane. It was designed to hold together long enough and it did. That’s the kind of passion and ingenuity that make this country so great.

Acclaimed forensic artist Samantha Steinberg, the subject of Miami Manhunt, was recently featured on Fox’s America’s Most Wanted where she created a series of age progression composites of a wanted fugitive. I’d be worried if I were that guy. Her drawings are that good.
